Good Morning Friends,
One of the most important questions a Christian can ask is this: Do you talk to Jesus like He is alive? Because if Jesus truly rose from the dead, then Christianity is not simply a moral code or a set of spiritual habits. It is a relationship with the living God, a relationship that reshapes our identity, our hope, and our understanding of reality itself.
If Jesus is alive, then prayer is not reciting words into the air. It is speaking to One who hears, responds, guides, comforts, convicts, and loves. If Jesus is alive, then death is not the end. The Cross is not merely a symbol of courage or sacrifice. Its meaning bursts open three days later when the tomb is empty. The resurrection is God’s declaration that suffering will not have the last word, evil will not have the last victory, and death will not have the last claim.
And if you are persuaded by this, and I mean really persuaded, then you begin to see why following Jesus cannot be reduced to “trying to be good.” Morality alone cannot sustain a human soul. What we need is transformation: a new heart, a new identity, a new relationship with the risen Christ. So, Do You Talk to Jesus Like He Is Alive?

Message: Friends, the New Testament never invites us to admire Jesus from a distance. It invites us to know Him. To walk with Him. To speak to Him. To trust Him. To obey Him. To love Him.Talking to God is the Spirit-enabled participation in Jesus’ own prayer, forming us as renewed humans who live out God’s kingdom in the present world.
This is why the resurrection is not an appendix to the gospel, it is the center. If Jesus is alive, then everything changes. Our prayers are heard. Our suffering is seen. Our sins are forgiven. Our future is secure. Our hope is not wishful thinking but resurrection reality.
And this is why the question I keep asking matters: Do you talk to Jesus like He is alive?
Because if you do, your faith becomes more than duty, it becomes an encounter. Assurance. Relationship. Hope. You begin to live as someone who believes that Christ is not a memory but a present Lord.

We forgive because He is alive. We hope because He is alive. We love because He is alive. We pray to join with Jesus as He prays for us.
And So, if Jesus is alive, then He is speaking still. Calling still. Restoring still. Saving still. Reigning still. And still praying. Don’t you want to believe that? Don’t you want to live in the kind of faith where Jesus is not an idea but a Person, your Savior, your Friend, your risen Lord? I will give you a prayer prompt. You sit down and talk with Jesus. He is looking forward to the conversation.
Pray in the power and gift of the Holy Spirit that we speak to Jesus as the living Christ. Pray we believe the resurrection is real. Pray that our faith becomes Christ’s faith in our relationship with Him, not ritual. Pray that we hear His voice calling our name. Pray that we trust Him with our fears, our grief, our future. Pray we live as people who know death is not the end. Pray we receive the Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead. Pray we walk in resurrection hope. Pray we are transformed, not merely improved. Pray that our congregation reflects the life of the risen Lord. Pray we believe that Jesus is alive and live like it.
