Good Morning Friends,       Today we look at Ezekiel’s vision of a time of abundance in the days of conflict that preceded …

Good morning, Brother John,

I confess to being a bit surprised by your suggestion that we “Pray we desire to experience God and not die in the process.” Paul reminds us that to live is to be in Christ. But to die is also to be in Christ. So, living or dying we will experience God. And frankly, like Paul, I would choose the later. But my living and dying is not really in my hands. God has a plan. And when He chooses to open my eyes to His presence, it will come when it does. The good news of the Gospel is that it will be in our dying that we finally see clearly and not just through a glass dimly. Until then, I will give thanks for the places where, looking back, I see that God was at work in me.

hesed ve shalom,
