Are the People in Our Lives Helping or Hurting?

Good Morning Friends,

If there is one thing that God cares about it is hurting people. The problem is that God wants us to care too. But being around negative people all the time robs one of a fulfilling life. Being a negative person is even worse. You see, a big part of who we become in life has to do with who we choose to have relationships with. Distancing oneself from negative people is never easy. But as hard as it may be, it’s something unavoidable eventually.  So we need to decide who we spend the majority of time, which leads us to today’s question … Are the People in Our Lives Helping or Hurting?

Scripture: Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Luke 6:37 (NIV)

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.
