The Very Focus of Our Hope
Good Morning Friends,
There are many key terms and concepts in Scripture like faith, love, joy, grace and peace that we come across as we read our Bibles, but often these are just vague concepts for most people. What I have been doing over the last few weeks is exploring just one such concept found in the Word of God and I am surprised that there is more to this than I originally thought possible. The concept is found throughout the Bible but especially in the wisdom literature, the Major Prophets and in the book of Romans. What I think makes it such an expansive concept is that it is a strong and confident expectation of something in the future…something that is invisible. Curious is it not that what gives this activity…this object power is The Very Focus of Our Hope.
